A scientist in the morning, an illustrator by night.
This is how I usually describe myself when people ask what I do.

 

I’m Eleonora, a passionate scientific communicator specialising in live event drawing.

 

My mission is to transform complex topics into captivating visuals that resonate with diverse audiences.

 

With a strong foundation in science - holding a Bachelor’s in Biotechnology (where I worked in a wet lab!) and a Master’s in Computational Biology (from the bench to the desk!) - I bring a unique perspective to my work.

 

After several years in research, I felt a calling to step into the world of science communication, where I combine my love for science and art to make knowledge more accessible and engaging.

 

I firmly believe that visual communication is a powerful tool to bridge the gap between science and society. It’s a journey I’m deeply committed to, striving to fulfill my vision of making science understandable and inspiring for everyone.

 

When I’m not drawing, coding, or attending conferences, you’ll often find me traveling, swimming, doing improv or drinking a spritz contemplating my next project.
